IT’S LIKE SEX WITH DUCKS

HERO: ANDREW SULLIVAN

Some people need little introduction, and for many gays and lesbians Andrew Sullivan is one of them.  A fearlessly independent voice who expresses, on websites and newspapers and TV shows across the globe, the frustration of many American citizens and residents at a political system that, amongst other things, takes their money and their votes and then ignores or harms them, and asks them to be grateful for crumbs.  His version of independent is not a cover for something else, it’s a bald statement of honesty – which is what he gives us in the face of the temptations of a relatively liberal and modern President as Barack Obama.
