Penny Wong is a degenerate. Nothing more and nothing less. One can tell the place is going to shit when this rubbish happens.

Next thing Bob Brown will want overies shoved up his ring so he can have kids too.

Guy Buchanan - Marriage is a union between man and woman only. In plumbers terms for the retards who disagree the round peg goes in the round hole.

What would Jesus think? You will all burn in hell but I don't really care if you want to pump the neighbors dog. I don't want to know about it. You queers would integrate a lot better if you didn't advertise the fact you were queers every chance you get. What people do behind closed doors is there buissness all i ask (and most people) is not to have it shoved in our faces on TV or two gays kissing on the street. Nothing makes me sicker.

When two people get married, it is because they love each other.
They want to be together in a bond that makes them one with each other forever.
It is a wonderful thing to have such a bond.
It is special.
It is love.
When a man and a woman get married, no one blinks an eye.
If two men or two women do the same, then many people do not approve.
They claim that it is not right or that it soils the real meaning of marriage.
What is the real meaning of marriage?
The answer to that question is in line one of this article.
It is because they love each other.
Does it matter if the couple is gay or straight?
Should it matter?
No!
After all, why should it.
Gays want their equal rights and among those equal rights is the right to be married.
I agree with wanting equal rights.
We are all people which means we are all the same.
It does not matter if someone is gay, white, black, a man, a woman, tall, short, young, old or whatever.
We all want our equal rights.
That is our right.
However, we need to go beyond equal rights when it comes to gay marriage.
Society needs to understand that any marriage is not about the right to be married.
It is about wanting to be married as a loving couple.
Love is not something that should be decided on by voters.
It is not a court issue either.
It should not be an issue at all.
Marriage is between two people in love.
It is not between two people, the voters, the courts and anyone else who has an opinion.
Gay marriage does not bring down the meaning of marriage.
It makes the true meaning of marriage even better.
That is what love does.
It makes things better.
Society has come a long way in the last fifty years in terms of equality, but we still have a long way to go.
It is a shame that love is something that needs to be fought for.
I am not gay, but I am the same as you as you are to me.
May love conquer all.

My argument is that marriage even in a generic format is the joining, matching or blending of two complimenting components. Testosterone does not compliment testosterone but is complimented by estrogen. B/c it is a dichotomy in principle to suggest that a homosexual union can be a marriage I contend that it should not be allowed as it is to suggest a new definition and principle for what marriage is.

*This is an argument against those who say that gay marriage is against God’s will*
Ok, so I had a conversation with my friend the other day concerning gay marriage (he was against it and I was for it) and stumbled across an epiphany of sorts. What if gay people made a church of their own! One that allows gay marriage. Maybe I am not the first one to think of it but I do believe that it is an uncommon idea so I had to tell somebody. What better place than a blog for gay marriage? While I doubt that this will be read that much, I firmly believe in getting my opinion heard (or read) and I hope that someone or a group of people with the means can take my idea and do something great with it because (no I am not gay) I believe in human rights and as far as I am concerned gay people are human too.
Alright, let me get to the point. The reason I say that gay people should form their own church is because something similar has been done before. King Henry VIII of England separated himself from the Roman Catholic Church because he disagreed with a fundamental doctrine…DIVORCE! Yes, in the Roman Catholic Church, the Old Testament, and the Old Testament divorce is considered immoral (unless one or both spouses have committed adultery or both spouse can prove the marriage never to have existed). However, even if the couple meets the requirement for divorce, God still wants these individuals to be married and he condemns remarriage to others. So when King Henry VIII wanted to divorce his wife, Catherine of Aragon, because she was unable to bare him a male heir, he was going against both of these principles and thus was unjustified in his wanting of a divorce; even if he was, he would not be allowed to remarry the woman he selected (Anne Boleyn) thus defeating the purpose. Henry's reformation of the English church involved more complex motives than his desire for a new wife and an heir however this was factor nonetheless. So he starts a new church, the Church of England. This one allows divorce. Some would argue that many other denominations of Christianity are derived from this church.
Alright now that we got all that stuff out of the way, I can get to the point. It’s as simple as this:
1.	How can anyone attack gay marriage on religious ground? If gay marriage is immoral, unjust, or against God’s will then we must consider divorce equally immoral, unjust, and against God’s will.
2.	If one man can create his own religion because he/she disagrees with another religion, why can’t gay people? Not allowing gay people the same rights is dehumanizing.
3. If we refuse to legalize gay marriage solely on religious debate, then we MUST question the legality of divorce.
4.	Finally, even if gay marriage is not to be legalized, if gay people were to form a church that allows gay marriage then the government is obligated to respect it.

If you believe that everything that I’ve said here is completely retarded please let me know…gently lol. You can do the research though. I’m not just blurting out random things.

...and "here"- they are worthless ramblings.

I've hand-written and sent letters to my representatives letting them know my feelings on many issues~

Have any of you? Or do you save your opinions only for the internet?

Penny Wong is but one of thousands that dtermine Labor Party policy. She has shown tremendous bravery and honesty in her approach to this issue. If the gay community leaves her to carry the can on this issue it would be the most ironic form of discrimination of all. Penny has worked tirelessly on a reform agenda from within the party. It may not be the avenue that many of us would choose however she has been earnest an open in her belief that this is in her belief the best avenue for change.
why is a diference of opinion from one within our community treated more harshly and as an act of treachery worthy of shunning her from the community.
